Naturally, we offer triple and quadruple PLANITHERM glass for energy efficient and passive buildings.

On average, 65-75% of joinery surfaces are made of glass, which makes them an extremely important element in the context of thermal insulation.

The lower the glass’s transmittance, the better the thermal insulation.

GLASS THICKNESS

When choosing thermal insulating glass, it is important to note whether it is double, triple or quadruple glazed and what technology it uses; e.g., Float, Low-E, or PLANITHERM smart technology.

Most ignore the thickness of total glass, and thickness is one of the three factors that significantly affect the strength of insulation.

The thicker the glass, the better the thermal insulation and sound insulation are and therefore every millimeter counts.

LAMINATED GLASS

When broken, the glass does not dissolve but remains on the foil. Production: Two or more glass panels joined by foils. Possibility to choose different colors and structures.

TEMPERED GLASS

Glass with high mechanical resistance up to 5x larger than ordinary glass. Production: by raising high temperatures and cooling. During breakage, the glass breaks into small pieces of blunt ends and thus protects against injury. This glass cannot be subsequently cut, drilled, etc.

PARSOL GLASS

Colored glass: blue, gray, green and brown. This type of glass is transparent in color and absorbs some of the light. Production: colors are added to the mass before making the glass.

STOPSOL STAKLO

Colored glass: blue, gray, green and brown. This type of glass is transparent in color and absorbs some of the light. Production: colors are added to the mass before making the glass. This glass reflects some of the sunlight, the second part absorbs, and the third part lets through.

SATINATO GLASS

Semi-permeable glass, ideal for bathrooms and places of high privacy because it only shows contours. It fits perfectly with any construction style. Production: one side is treated with corrosive acids.

SAVIJENO STAKLO

FIRE RESISTANT GLASS

Multilayered glass with fire levels of 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes, as required. It is installed in fire resistant ALU profiles. It is most commonly used for ensuring evacuation zones and prevention of further fire spreading. Production: multiple layers of glass glued with special fire-resistant transparent foils.

BULLETPROOF GLASS

Ballistic glass prevents the penetration of bullet fired from a firearm. The level of resistance of this glass can vary. Production: multiple layers of glass and polycarbonate bonded with special foils.
